So, are the moderators behind or is something malfunctioning with the
newsgroup system? Because I'm trying to post to the "Concepts and
conversions" thread - I have tried it twice now, one post yesterday and one
last friday. The few posts I have made in this newsgroup so far have shown
up within a day, and I can't imagine they have been rejected because they
were fully ontopic and contained no offensive material whatsoever. I know
this post is a bit off-topic here, but I have no idea where else to turn to,
and I'd like to know whether this post will be received.

I'm using the news service of my provider btw, not google groups or
anything.

There is no backlog, but some approvals do not appear to be taking effect; the cause is not yet known.

FWIW, I posted Apr 26 and it hasn't appeared yet. Sent query about it
to std-c++-request@ncar.ucar.edu and got a response on Apr 30; however,
the post still hasn't appeared.
