I remember the price of the PDF version of the C++ Standard (ISO/IEC
14882) was 18.00 USD (and I had bought both the 1998 and 2003 versions
at that price), but now I see it has increased to 30.00 USD in ANSI
Store and Techstreet.com.

Does anyone know why? And/or where a cheaper version is available?

I don't understand how/why the standard document gets more expensive
as it gets older, and I'm more reluctant to recommend to others
purchasing it at 30.00 USD (than at 18.00 USD).
