Following that advice (which I wasn't aware of), shouldn't the FAQ be
updated, because

"3. How do I submit a posting to comp.std.c++?
You should be able to use your ordinary newsreading software[..]"

does imply for my, that my posting was fine.

No, there is no such chain, as articles are moderated by a
person selected at random from a group of moderators. Also,
newsservers are not as deterministic as everyone would like them to
be; that's just a fact of Usenet.

Hello,

I observed that although my actual posting "Proposed resolution of open r=
equest #416"=20
to c.s.c++ did not show up (yet), there already occured an answer to that.

OK, I understand, that there exist time-delays among different postings, =
but shouldn't there
always exist a chain of causality which prevents that a dependent posting=
 can not show up
before its 'root'?=20
The current state leads to postings out-of-context and make other readers=
 wonder about it...

Sincerily,

Daniel Kr=FCgler

Your post is dated almost an hour earlier than the reply and shows up
ahead of the reply at my sloppy news server. It is possible that you
may never see your post at your server. The post is html which is
considered inappropriate for usenet by many. Manybe the moderators
should reject such posts.
