I've got the C++ standard book from Wiley on order for quite a while
now. Originally it was announced for September, then it was rescheduled
for November, but we've got December now and I'm still waiting for it to
arrive. How likely is it that I will receive it before Xmas? Are all
print shops busy printing Harry Potter? Does anybody know the actual
status? Francis?
Cheers
Stefan

The book exists -- people I know have seen actual copies of it.
I expect you won't have to wait much longer.

The problem is that it is a UK sourced book and that means that
officially publication in the US is two calendar months later. Now it
came out on October 25th (Trafalgar Day, IIRC) in the UK which means...
Oh well, you might be lucky but I guess early January is more likely.
And before complaining too loudly, we in the UK suffer just as badly for
US sourced books. Indeed I often manage to have read and reviewed such
books before they are on sale in the UK because several publishers send
me review copies by air.

I have had it for about a month.
I would make contact with your order supplier and find out where your copy
is.
