Wiley. You can order direct form the UK (faster because it will not be
till some time in December that it is officially distributed in the US.
Note the European prices are significantly less than the US price as
long as the dollar does not loose much more ground. (just for a change
when it is normally the other way round)

amazon.co.uk have it discounted by 29% Note that on both amazon.co.uk
and amazon.com you will have to work a little to find it (try searching
for 0470846747)

I'm looking for any free version of the standard (drafts will also do)
from 1999 onwards.
Could anyone help?
Best regards,
Alex

Why? The drafts are only legally available for 'the purposes of
standardisation' so strictly speaking using them for any other purpose
infringes someone else's IPR.

You have two reasonable legal choices. Buy an electronic copy from a
National Body that is willing to sell it to you (in practice that costs
$18) or wait a couple of weeks and buy the book form which costs $65 (or
a bit less if you buy it in ukp)

There have been no public drafts in that time period,
and the FAQ for this group covers reasons why the standard
itself is not freely available (although it's available
in PDF form quite cheaply).

Look for the one for 18USD. There are no drafts after 1999. Yet.
