Topic: NOTICE: comp.std.c++ SERVER DOWN
Author: fjh@cs.mu.OZ.AU (Fergus Henderson)

There seems to be a problem with one of the servers used to process
articles posted to comp.std.c++, and as a result articles posted in
the normal manner have not been getting through to the moderators.
The problem began about three days ago (the last article received
before the problem began was received at Thu Feb 19 23:10:51 2003 GMT).
We are investigating the problem, and hope to rectify it as soon
as possible. However, we do not yet know how long that will take,
or whether we will be able to recover the lost articles.
In the mean time, there is a work-around available:
if you wish to post to the group, you can email your
article to <fjh+csc-submit@cs.mu.oz.au>.
My apologies for the disruption.

More information has come to hand; it looks like the forwarding server
has been bouncing messages, rather than forarding or queueing them.
So the messages won't have been saved, and hence at this stage it looks
very unlikely that we will be able to recover any articles posted in
the last three days.
If you have posted an article to the newsgroup recently, and
it has not yet appeared, please repost it by sending it to
<fjh+csc-submit@cs.mu.oz.au>.
Posting messages in the usual manner is still not working;
you need to email them to <fjh+csc-submit@cs.mu.oz.au>.
Sorry about the inconvience.
