I have a 14882 - 1998ed PDF file which I bought by $18.
Is there any modifications on it or new publication?

At the moment, neither nor - the first technical corrigendum has not
been completed, yet. There is, however, an official defect list. For
the Core, it is at

http://anubis.dkuug.dk/jtc1/sc22/wg21/docs/cwg_toc.html

Regards,
Martin

Not officially, there are only two versions of that PDF
file to my knowledge. They differ only in that text selection
is enabled in the newer versions (after much hammering on
ANSI to fix that).

Is there an easy way to get the new version for the owner of the old
one?

yes and yes (well, sort-of ;-))

http://anubis.dkuug.dk/jtc1/sc22/wg21/docs/papers/2001/n1334/

"Draft Consolidated Technical Corrigendum for
 International Standard for Information Systems=97
 Programming Language C++ .... DRAFT: 9 November 2001"
                               ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

BTW, is there anything newer than that already?

regards,
alexander.

Officially, it will cost you $18.

I managed to get a replacment copy out of ANSI because of my persistance.

There are also PDF viewers out there that conveniently ignore the lock :-)
