Currently we are focused on maintaining the C++ Standard which largely
means taking public comment and deciding if it merits classification as
a defect report or as a request for interpretation or something else.

Among those 'potential defect reports' along with other things being
published here we have a wealth of ideas for future directions in C++.

One of the motives for keeping a list of defect reports together with
tentative resolutions of these is to help implementers by warning them
of traps and possible change.

It seems to me that having a consolidated list of potential extensions
in the next version of C++ would also be helpful. It would allow for
discussion, comment and experimentation. It could also help
implementers remain consistent.

What do others think? Should we ask J16 & WG21 to maintain an extra
list:

Requests for consideration as a future extension
