(Followups set to comp.std.c++ since you did ask specifically about the C++
Standard and not the C Standard.)

The recent C++ Standard is an _ISO_ standard, document number ISO/IEC
14882:1998. Like all other ISO standards, including ISO/IEC 9899:1999 (the C
Standard), one can buy them in paper form from one's country's accredited
standards body, which would be the BSI in your case.

You can buy BSI documents on-line at http://www.bsi.org.uk/ .

I don't know about buying them. I was in the BSI library in Chiswick the
other day, and I believe that NA1 was there, so the BSI would seem to have
it. (I was looking for another standard at the time, however, so I wasn't
paying too much attention to the document numbers and could be mistaken. I
just happened to pass by the 9890s.)

Thanks, I pass Chiswick frequently, I will look into it for all C & C++
documents
