Is there a FAQ for this group? If so where?
I want to read it before I ask any questions.

Thanks!
Todd

There aren't really many frequently asked questions that are appropriate
for this group, since it's on such an advanced subject matter (esoteric
details of the C++ standard). Newbie questions would probably be more
appropriate for comp.LANG.c++ than comp.STD.c++. For practical purposes,
consider the C++ standard to be the FAQ for this group.

Ummm, at the risk of sounding obvious, there is a FAQ for this
newsgroup, listed in the trailer that appears in every message. ----+
We also recommend that people read the FAQ before posting messages. |
This FAQ also has references to more general C++ FAQs. |
