>From whom should I purchase the ISO C++ standard in Canada? The FAQ
only identifies ANSI as a source for this standard but I cannot purchase
it from the ANSI standards store on the Web because it checks to see
whether you are American.

You could see if CSA offers a similar purchase option for Canadians.
NCITS (National Committee for Information Technology Standards) also
sells the C++ standard online for $20.00 US. I do not know if they
have a similar requirement.

CSA has apparently now become CSA International and does not handle IT related
standards. I have tracked down something called the Standards Council of
Canada which appears to be an umbrella group which has farmed out the
distribution of standards in Canada to a subsiduary of Global Engineering,
whose database only describes the hardcopy version, at a hardcopy price.
