Perhaps a good idea would be to add more robust language features for the
association relationships.
It can all be done with containers and pointers, but (IMHO) it's as strong a
primitive as 'class'.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to build it into the language specification.
It would certainly help keep the mapping between model and code more robust.
Overloading should allow for diverse implementations, I was trying to think
of reasons why it would weaken the language, and I cannot think of any, so
it's probably not a bad idea.
Just a thought....
