The function 'std::ptr_fun<>()' is overloaded for
'std::pointer_to_unary_function<>' and
'std::pointer_to_binary_function<>' (CD2),
but the 'std::mem_fun<>()' and 'std::mem_fun_ref<>()' are not
overloaded for 'std::mem_fun1_t<>' / 'std::mem_fun1_ref_t<>'.
There are 'std::mem_fun1<>()' and 'std::mem_fun1_ref<>()' instead
of them.

What is the reason for this inconsistency?
