Topic: problems with "problems with locale and its facets" and its facets

The "problems with locale and its facets" subject line now
covers numerous totally unrelated threads. I find it hard
to keep track of what's going on.

Here's a modest proposal, made as a reader of the group
and not as one of the group moderators:

Any reply to something with that subject line should use a
different subject line, related to the actual topic.
The new subject should NOT end with "... was: problems with
locale and its facets", but should stand on its own.

I'm going to start doing so now.

I'm also asking that people not reply to this article. If you
think my proposal is a good idea, follow it. If you don't agree
with the proposal, ignore it. (I'm not saying anything new
here; you are always free to change or not change a subject
line when replying to a posted article. For that matter,
you are free to reply to this article if you think doing
so is worthwhile.)
