Last week, the ANSI/ISO C++ committee held a meeting in Nashua, NH.
Earlier this week, I presented an executive summary of that meeting at
a local user group. As the committee meeting was a "quiet" meeting,
I decided to provide some background information about how the committee meets
and such too. The presentation was given with slides using MS-Powerpoint.
We have subsequently HTML'd the slides and the presentation is available via
the Comeau Computing WEB site located at http://www.comeaucomputing.com.

A part II with some explicit technical details is hoped to be forthcoming.

I would like to ask that if anything in the presentation is to be quoted
anywhere, that I be contacted first, as it is easy to loose the context
of a given bullet item. Thanks. And of course, I would be glad to
interpret or defend any statements it appears I may have made, including
in a public discussion.
