Actually, GED wouldn't ship to me in Canada (saying that the SCC up
here is supposed to have a monopoly on Canadian CD2 sales, though
unfortunately the SCC subsequently told me that they don't sell CDs,
only DISs and ISs -- oh well).
I called ANSI, and, after a bit of jumping through hoops on their end
to get a Canadian address into their computer system, they sold me a
copy yesterday. I hope to have it soon.

If anyone is interested, Standards Australia have said they will
have CD2 in February, but they don't have a price for it.

...and then half an hour later they called me again to say they have
it. Cost AUS$163.80 + $8 shipping.

Friday 10 Jan, I ordered CD2 from Global Engineering Documents. The price
was $65. After the many posts on this subject, I called back Monday to
be sure that I would get the correct one. Good thing. On Friday, it was
an earlier 96 draft, but by Monday it was the Dec 96 draft and the price
had dropped to $55.
All communication with the company was a pleasure. They will ship anyplace
in the world and accept all major credit cards. There are of course
shipping and handling which will vary with destination. I should have
something in hand by next Monday. Will post again then.
