Why typeinfo does not include information about
the parents of the class?. The implementation shown in the book of
Stroustrup supports it.

Hi,

I hope someone can help me. I am looking for information on RTTI
(Run-Time Type Information). If anyone can guide me in the right direction
or perhaps give me some references, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking more for information concerning standards and
implementation, but I'm sure any information would be helpfull.

Thanx

Marc A. Preddie

Could somebody please explain how to use RTTI (syntax and examples) if it
wouldn't take to long. I am an unforunate high school student where hi-tech is
a 286 that barely runs Windows 3.0 in real mode. Thanks. Sunil Puri.

Can anyone tell me about the actual status of RTTI in standard C++?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Hubert.
