SS-LEARN, the SunSoft Learning Environment and Resource Network
presented by Steve Clamage, SunSoft
A major problem confronting large organizations everywhere, and
Sun in particular, is making easily available the wealth of information
that exists within the organization. SS-LEARN uses the Web and
the "intranet" to supply tutorial material on technical topics,
survey articles of technical subjects, and references to
departmental and project home pages containing material of
interest. The latest feature is the WHO KNOWS data base, which
allows staff to search by keywords for experts on particular
subjects.
