Topic: Status of ANSI standard?

What is the status of the ANSI C++ standard? I've not been
able to locate anything newer than the April 1995 working
paper, either on the FTP site or through ANSI. I've heard
rumors of a May 1996 draft, but where can one get it? And
what is the status of the standardization?

Apologies if this has been answered before, but had lost
news access for a while. I did look on the FAQ and it was
no help.

Questions 7 through 10 in the comp.std.c++ FAQ list
 http://reality.sgi.com/employees/austern_mti/std-c++/faq.html
answer all the questions you asked above. If there is something else
you want, be more specific. (But the answers in the FAQ list are
about as detailed as is possible.)
