Last summer, X3 held a public comment period for
C++ (ISO/IEC CD 14882).
Has there been any formal response (from the committee) to
these comments? Is there any plans to do so?
I submitted a formal comment following the instructions
spelled out by the X3 Secretariat (which were distributed
with copies of the April draft). I've received no acknowledgment
or response to this comment.

All the comments that were received were examined, and either
accepted, rejected, or placed on a "TBD" list. Formal responses
have not yet been prepared. We should be able to send out formal
responses to all comments within the next few months.
