Hi Folks! You might be interested in the new ANSI C++ working papers at:

 http://www.cygnus.com/misc/wp/jan96

Disclaimer: Bear in mind, these have not yet been adopted by x3j16,
nor WG21, and as such, there is no obligated relationship between this
document and any future ANSI document.

We will be reviewing them and voting on them soon enough, and it is
normal for us to find a few typos that need correcting.

If you find any, or want to discuss the paper, please do so in
comp.std.c++.

That's still not a public document, is it? I got an error when trying to
access the URL. Is it available to the public via FTP? If not, who gets
to read these things, and when will we mere mortals get to see a newer
version than the ancient one of last April?

The working paper is not secret, but by X3 policy is generally available
only to committee members. Anyone can join the committee, and
non-members can purchase a copy from X3.

A new public-comment version will be made available in a few months.
It will be announced here and in other forums.
