Hello,

in my effords to port some C++ code to various machines I made the
painfull experience of the various non supported features, e.g. some
template stuff.

In order to circumvent this someone proposed to use genclass. From what
he said I think this is something like a C++ to C, or a template C++ to
a non template C++ translator (like a precompiler?).

{ genclass is in either the gcc or the libg++ distribution -mod}

I would like to have some more information about it, especially ...
... where to get it
... what it can really do
... whether there are efficiency drawbacks

Thank you for any reply.
 Axel.
