You might find more information in comp.std.c++.
The comp.lang.c++ newsgroup has a lot of traffic. The comp.std.c++
newsgroup is primarily focused on the ISO/ANSI standards activity
for the proposed C++ programming language.
There is a joint ISO/ANSI meeting coming up in early July in
Monterey, California. I am certain that the members of the
ANSI committee can provide you with more information on the
agenda of the meeting and the schedule for future meetings.
I have heard that the meeting after that is in Japan in November.
The DRAFT C++ standard has been published for "public review".
The current status of that review period will probably be
reported at the above meeting(s). There does not seem to be very
much current information posted here.
I have suggested that the activities of the ISO/ANSI process
be discussed and documented in this forum. This does not seem to
be a popular viewpoint. There are evidently private mailing lists
but you have to be a member of the ANSI committee to receive
those lists and membership costs money, which some of us can not
afford.
