Hi

I have a question and wonder if there is anybody out here that could help me.

I have a script written in Aspect which is an extensive script language for
procomm-plus for windows. My question is, how hard would it be to translate the
code into C++ for WIndows using Borland C++. The reason why I want to convert it is because of portability questions and also to make it a stand alone executable.
BTW: Does Borland C++ support com routines, like ascii file transfers etc.
Procomm Plus for WIndows is a pretty good com package, that's why I used it, because
my script is more or less a central fileserver with different serial "sent to" locations.

I don't have a copy of Borland C++ 4.5 yet, but thinking about buying one and start learning it because not only is it cheap but also I like to finally step up to
a real compiler :-).

If anyone understands both languages, please reply to me via e-mail.

Thank you very much and I'm sorry for having bummped into here like this

Jens
