Has anyone else been writing polite suggestions to jobs
ads writers to _not_ send their ads to comp.lang.c++?
(I usually suggest something in misc.jobs.* or some regional
jobs group)

It's really getting annoying, -- and it's happening
to other technical discussion groups as well.

Pretty soon we'll be overrun with ads, and it's not as if
there isn't plenty of crap already.

I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I agree that job postings
should be left to appropriate groups .... but .... I've tried
browsing through misc.jobs.offered and always find it to be
completely intolerable. Every day, there are thousands of new
postings to browse through. If I were looking for a job
specifically related to C++, I would probably be happy to see
it posted here. It's really only the completely unrelated stuff
that bugs me.

I think that it is appropriate to ask for and post jobs related to the
NT list as long as it is NT related. Now if it gets too common than
starting a new group for NT jobs needs to be done. Besides you don't
have to read them if the subject line tells you it is about NT jobs,
just as I have done.
