As the title says, should Smalltalk or any other  pure OO language
be a prerequisite for anyone learning C++?
 I have to debate on this topic this Wednesday, June 14. This is for
the introductory course on OOP/OOD I'm taking. I'm not too familiar with this.

 So, I would very much appreciate any help from all you gurus/experts
on Smalltalk and C++. By the way, I have to take the pro side of the debate.
I would also like to get response from the people who DISAGREE with the
statement that ST s/b a prerequisite.
