Does anyone intend to provide an I-Phone Internet Feed *live* from the
next ANSI Standards meeting that is going to be held in Monterey,
California?

Even though this may not allow remote people to participate, at least
they can "listen". This might help allow people with limited travel
budgets and handicapped people to participate in the making of one
of *their* national standards.

For those not familiar with I-Phone...check out http://www.vocaltec.com

BTW, Sun Microsystems is supposedly hosting the next meeting. It would
probably be up to some innovative person at Sun to set something like
this up. I would not depend on AT&T to set this up because too many
people might discover that "free" long-distance telephone calls are
being made around the world via the Internet. If too many people discover
this, then AT&T may suffer. Even though the recent AT&T 1994 Annual
Report (http://www.att.com), trys to portray AT&T as a "small fish"
in the communications industry, I do not think that anyone bought it.

AT&T is actually a very large fish...and a smelly one at that...:)
