I have ported the HP free implementation of the STL to
Watcom 10.0a, and it works with no real problems for me,
though I had to remove support for mixed model
programming. It certainly is useful for learning about the
STL.
It's available at the 'butler' site where the original STL
came from, under the name WAT_STL.ZIP
