In their existing format at research.att.com, gzip (the gnu file
zipper/unzipper), can unpack the c++ draft files just fine, at least the
OS/2 version.  I believe there is a DOS version, but I'm not sure where
you can find it.  (OS/2 version is available via ftp to hobbes@nmsu.edu
in directory os2/unix)
