For an article on recent development in high-level languages,
EETimes is looking for comments on the C++ standardization
effort. What do you think of the standard document, the
ANSI/ISO standardization process, and (more important) what
do you think this will mean to the language itself (i.e., will
it stanch some of the criticisms about the complexity of
C++ etc.). Some comments on the whole object scene would also
be welcomed.
(FYI, the piece will look at other languages besides C++.)
Any and all comments are welcome. Please provide your
name, affiliation and title. Please be aware that I might
quote anything I receive in EETimes.
Please reply via e-mail to awolfe@delphi.com
(I'm requesting e-mail rather than a follow-up post,
since I want exclusive material; not stuff other writers
can read on this forum.)
thanks much to all.
