I have posted this to comp.std.c++ just in case some of it sinks
into the heads of the people working to finish the C++ standard
after 15 years of trying to design a language to match their compilers.

Also, somone send me a batch of @ signs from Finland, I thought that
I would use some here. They said the key is Alt-.
