I don't know how to do this with MFC, but the MTHREAD example
shows how to do this with OWL.

I am relatively new to the MFC and Visual C++ environment.
I am running on a Pentium Gateway 2000 machine with Visual C++ 1.0.

I am looking for sample programs or methods that have a need to post data
to a document/view while the program is executing??? sort of like a status
window. I have been looking at a wide variety of documentation and MFC classes
trying to figure it all out! I would like to use a CEditView view with scrolling
capabilities, post new data at the bottom of the view and allow the user to
save the document when they are ready. I have looked through several of the
sample programs provided by installation but have had no luck in trying to resolve
this.

If anyone can direct me to the proper documentation or have an example I may
look at it would be most appreciated.
