How can I get "The C++ FAQ" you are talking about?
(i.e. could you explain the sentence: "posted on tihs conference each month").

In comp.lang.c++ you write:

Although everyone interested in the C++ language is encouraged to read the
C++ FAQ, and the other excellent books I listed, the above posting's strong
language was directed specificly at Jim Fleming.
The C++ FAQ is published here at the beginning of each month. Look for the
words "C++ FAQ" in the subject line.
It is also posted at sun.soe.clarkson.edu in the pub/C++ subdirectory. There
are usally several files. It is only available in raw text format.
Let me know if you have trouble obtaining it.
