WinG can be used with all compilers: pascal, c, c++ , delphi, vb
 BUT:

how does work delphi? does it use something like *.lib like in c++?

look:
in c++, with borland for example, you must make implib wing.dll wing.lib
to have the lib to link in your projetc. the *.h files are provided by microsoft.

if delphi is like the borland pascal for windows :
i think you dont need any lib but only a tpu (it is dcu?) : you must hav to translate the wing.h file into a .dcu file. More, you must manually load the wing.dll library while in c++, with the libs, it is automatic.

i remember that in tpw, i used the loadlibrary fonction to load a dll and a getprocadress to find the entry point of any fonctions (named for instance in wing.h)

I am VERY VERY sorry for bothering the wrong group about this but I am
desperate to find answers to my question. I love C++, borland and visual, but
I have Delphi and Visual Basic Professional and I wanted to try out a game
using these language in stead of C or C++, but noone seems to know if WinG,
from microsoft, which is supposed to make windows and 95, and NT the Gaming
Platform of the Lifetime(well at least for a while--what else is there) It is
to enhance the graphics. Now Noone including the Visual Basic techs I talked
to can Even tell me if it works with VB or Delphi, and to be honest all 12 of
them I talked to never heard of WinG. I heard I.D. had ported Doom in a
Windows version and it FLEW. But If I can't use it for Delphi, and/or atleast
Visual Basic then I don't want those two languages at all. Not only that, they
will give it to you free off their ftp.microsoft.com in the WING directory
under a long path I forget, but it doesn't really tell the way to use it even
in the 40 page manual I printed out with it, nor any delcarations or hints or
barely Squat. ANY help would be much appreciated. Some of the features I have
seen supported under Visual Basic such as Bitblt but don't know how to use it
because VB is new to me but at least I would like to know how to use WinG if
it really works as well as they say(at least find out if it works with Visual
Basic)

Oh and if you know of any graphics designers who are looking for work that
they would be willing to do on a percentage basis, reason being I don't
normally do games and don't have time to waste myself on 3d studio or any
other graphics software, the programming is enough for me
