Stroustrup read a paper on rtti at the Usenix C++ conference in 1992.

Is this online anywhere?

Anyone know of any other papers on rtti? How about compilers that support it?

I can name you four commercial ones straight off the top of my head.

Borland C++ 1.5 and 2.0 for OS/2.
MetaWare High C++ 3.2 and 3.31 for OS/2.

 You may want to look at 1) the current draft for proposed ANSI/ISO
C++ Standard 2) The C++ Programming Language (2nd Edition) : Stroustrup.

 As far as compilers go, Borland C++ 4.0/4.5 supports rtti.
I have heard that Sun Sparc Compiler (CC) 4.0.x also does.
