I am a student at NCSU who is working on a project team that is attempting
to optimize the gcc compiler. In order for use to do this, I need to find
some benchmarks (C++ source code) to use as test code for this project.
What I am looking for is C++, OOP (Object Orientated Programming) source
code. The code should be of significant size, but nothing too large. The
following C++, OOP code would be nice:
code used for applications in linux
code used for a graphical displayer, like "xv"
code used for any text editor, like "ted"
code used for any WWW browser, like "mosaic"
code used for any Internet programs
code used for any CAD (Computer Aided Design) packages
code used for any computer games
code used for any compiler
etc...
The only requirement of this code is that it is written in C++, using OOP.
If anybody knows of where I can find such code, and the file names, please
let me know. I can then go out and ftp the code back to NCSU.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!
Thank you.
