Requirements:

BS/MS/Ph.D Computer Science/Computer Engineering. Position requires
a strong background in software development. Successful
candidate will have experience in C, C++, Object-Oriented
Design and development. Also requires a strong background in
UNIX. Experience in developing or using CAD tools is a plus.
Specialization in any of the following technical areas will
be helpful.

VLSI Testing
Pattern Recognition
Parallel & Distributed Computing
Test Coverage and Modeling
Distributed Object Management


Job Description:

Primary responsibility will be to design and develop highly
interactive CAD tools to be used in the next generation of
VLSI test development. The applications will be based on a
Unix workstation using  C/C++, X/Motif, and an Object
Oriented database. Task will also include evaluation of next
generation software development tools like CASE tools and
Distributed Object Management systems. Some of the future
applications will require evaluating Parallel and
Distributed Processing techniques for meeting the
performance challenges of the problem domain.

Position requires good communication skills for interaction
with internal customers. Due to the challenging nature of the
problem domain and the performance requirements placed on the
tools, the candidate will have to be very focused and results
oriented.

it is valuable to some people, it is junk to others, such as myself.

There are other places where people look for jobs.  We look for
C++ standards-related information here.
