Hello All,

 I vaguely remember having seen one or two posting mentioning a
standard numerical array for C++ (in this group or in comp.lang.c++; I
don't quite remember, but one of the posting may have been from Andrew
Koeing).

 Could any summarize some or all of the following?

 - Is there such a standard?
 - Is it available? If so, where & in what form?
 - What are the rationale & philosophy behind it?
 - What are its functionalities?
