This reminds me of a question: will the eventual C++ Standard be accompanied
by a Rationale as the C Standard does?

There is an old saying that `You really DON'T want to know how sausages and
laws are made.''

Perhaps language standards should be included in that saying from now on.

I am preparing a research paper on the ASNI/ISO developments in their
definition of a standard for the C++ language. In particular, I would like to
know the method the committee uses in determining which features to include in
the language and how it reports them. I also would like to get more
information some of the newer features included in the current version of
the standard. In particular, I am in need of information on namespaces. If
someone could direct me to a FAQ or other document that would provide me with
some information, I would be very grateful. If someone could also tell me
how access the draft standard itself, I would also appreciate it.

Thank you in advance for your time.
