I need a way to verify input from an istream BEFORE putting it out to
cout. For example, I want the user to input a time based on the format
"HH:MM:SS", and I want to ONLY show the user's input per character if it
is within the correct parameters for the format. If the user inputs say "25",
I DON'T want it to show on the screen.
