Could anyone tell me what a used version of Symantec's C++ version 6.1
would be worth? I am considering buying it and need to know ASAP. Also,
how does it compare to other compilers?
Thanks in advance,

I think I've seen these offered for about $50. I think the reason this is
so low is that the 6.x releases were very buggy and you'll have to spend
another $150 immediately to upgrade it to 7.0. The 7.x release (now up to
7.0.4) is ok and the most complete implementation of C++ for the Mac.
BTW, comp.sys.mac.programmer would have been a more appropriate place to
post this message. This newsgroup is for standard-related discussion.
