Have you tried the book "NUMERICAL RECIPES: The Art of Scientific Computing"
by William H. Press, Brian P. Flannery, Saul A. Teukolsky, William T. Vetterling
The book is full of useful routines for doing higher math. The book has
a whole chapter on "Solution of Linear Algebraic Equations". A very handy
book to have if you're programming. Various language versions of the
book exist: C, FORTRAN BASIC, Pascal,...

I've been working on a program that will solve the linear
system Ax = b using gauss-jordan elimination. My rusty C++
skills are not helping any. I need to have this for a class on
short notice. Can anyone help? I'm getting desperate.
