I have an exercise to do concerning doubly linked lists.  I
understand the theory behind them, but I am having a lot of trouble
trying to write code for them.

If anyone knows of any examples of Doubly linked lists, I will be
forever in your debt (Well, I'd think you where a great person anyway)
if you could tell me.
