The seminar is aimed at those who use or plan to use C++ so that they can
- understand how the extensions in the new standard best can be used
to enforce good design and program structure
- use the new standard library (including STL)
- make realistic plans for C++ projects

Presentation of the speakers:
Andrew Koenig is a distinguished member of the technical staff at AT&T
Bell Laboratories. He is working on C++ tools in a department
dedicated to reducing the costs of software development. Mr. Koenig
writes the C++ column in the "Journal of Object Oriented Programming",
and writes regularly for the "C++ Report". He is the author of "C
Traps and Pitfalls". He is the editor for the C++ Standards Committee.
Barbara Moo. Technical Manager AT&T Bell Laboratories, managed AT&T's
C++ programme from 1986 through mid-1992 (releases 1.1 through
3.0). For most of that time, Barbara's group was also responsible for
supporting and promoting the use of C++ in AT&T development
projects. Barbara now manages a group building a platform for future
C++ programming environments.
Michael Vilot is the president of Object Craft Inc. Michael i a
regular writer in C++ Report. His interests includes class libraries,
their organisation and use. He has together with Booch implemented the
Booch components in C++.
