Ladies and Gentlemen,
I know just a bit about the C language from what I have taught myself. I am
interested in buying the new Borland C 4.0 compiler; however, after playing
with it for a few minutes, I am extremely overwhelmed by its utilities. I
have searched bookstores for books that walk me through the IDE for C, but
ALL the books cover C++ and the new Borland compiler. My wishes are simple-
to be able to use the compiler, understand it (I still don't understand how
a project exactly works), and I'm looking for a book that will hold my hand
while learning the new Borland 4.0 C compiler, while not cluttering my mind
with C++ information. I just want to stick with C. Any recommendations for
useful books or programs?
Anyone's help is appreciated. Also, would you know if verrsion 4.02 of the
compiler is bug free?
E-mail me and I thank you for your time.

P.S. I really don't know much about C. I know only basic stuff, but wish to
learn much more. I'm not going nowhere near C++ until I master C. Sound like
a good plan? Thanks.
