I would like to know the differences in these two C++ conferences -

1. comp.std.c++
2. comp.lang.c++

This is to enable me communicate with the appropriate area.

Thanks.

comp.lang.c++ is for general discussion of C++: programming problems, coding
style questions, class libraries, etc. Reading the comp.lang.c++ FAQ list
will give you a good idea of what sort of questions are appropriate.

comp.std.c++ is intended only for discussions about issues relating to the
upcoming ANSI/ISO C++ standard.

(The above is all IMHO; if anyone has any further comments to add, please do.)
