After asking about the use of the ANSI C++ string class in the exception
handler class xmsg, I started wondering what the actual definition of
the string class is. My mind was wandering instead of concentrating on
work, what else is new!

Where can I find the complete definition of the string class, including
member function definitions, standard implementation issues, etc..
If this is not available, can someone write up something. The only
thing I have is the string class which comes with BC++ 4.0 compiler.
I'm not sure which parts of their implementation is standard or which
is their own methodology.

Thanks again!
