I need help from the net...

I am looking to buy a visual C++ compiler for my PC and I cannot
find any articles in the trade magazines comparing compilers, so
I thought users on the net could give me their opinions.

My main goal for getting a complier is so I can start learning C++
at home since I cannot find the time at work.

My choices are either Bordland's or Microsoft's. Any opinions?
