I got BC++ 4.0 on CD-ROM and have had several problems.  I hope someone
out there knows the answers.  Anyway, I am running DOS 6.2 on a generic
486VLB 66Mhz system with 16MB RAM and 300+MB hard disk.  Been using the
system for over a year and never had any compatability problems.  Qemm
7.03 and DOS 6.2 version of SMARTDRV (caches my CD-ROM).

Ok, so here are the problems:

(1) I couldn't install it at first.  I finally tried turning of SMARTDRV
and everything installed okay.  With SMARTDRV there, though, install
would always say "Out of Memory" just after starting and displaying the
first "billboard" along the right side of the road (part of the install
screen animation).

(2) From within the IDE, I tried running the last item in the "Tools"
menu, which supposedly compiles keyboard definitions.  It barfed and said
it ran out of memory!!!???  Hmm.  I ran out of memory on the install
too.  This leads me to believe there's some sort of compatability problem
with BC4 and DOS 6.2 (or at least the 6.2 version of SMARTDRV).  Anyone
know any more about this?

I installed the CD-ROM version without any problems - but it was from
within Windows 3.1 (I used the file-run command).  I've noticed that
many of the command line tools fail with "Out of Memory" when run from
straight DOS but would work OK from within the Windows DOS box.
