I dont recommend this, because there IS no Standard string class
yet. There wont be until we have an International Standard. Until
then the committee is free to keep changing the class, and have
indeed been doing that.

In addition, its possible that the interface and documents
are copyright. They will remain so when the Standard exists too.
So this information may never be available freely. ISO and ANSI
and other bodies make their dollars selling Standards.

Hello,

I was wondering where I might find the public interface for the ANSI string
class, so that I can at least make mine look like it until we actually acquire
a compiler that has it. I realize that I could get it from a working paper,
but it is nearly impossible to speak to anyone at CBEMA. (The secretaries have
voice mail, which they *DO NOT* answer. I tried for two weeks to get a paper
by calling, with *NO* luck.)

I am looking for an ftp site or perhaps someone nice could e-mail it to me?

Thanks for any help.

Reverenter,
jwm
